Hello World

Not earth shattering, not moving, just a bit geeky. This my first weblog and I'm feeling a bit self conscious. I'm in the midst of programming and configuring this new Drupal web site. I've tinkered with various CMS systems so far and I'm impressed with this one. Notably most of the modules seem to 'work'. I'll find out more about the inevitable handicaps built in later. Almost time to go off to teach a little Engrish...

I'm sorry to contact you this way - my name is Katrina and I met your wife Lilly on the train to Maebashi, some years ago.  I've had contact through MyLife.com, requesting that I confirm whether or not I know a Fred Tranfield - unfortunately the way MyLife is set up it won't let me confirm except through the address to which the request was sent; and I no longer work at HobbyLink Japan (back home in Canada now!) so my address katrina at hlj dot com is no longer valid.  I just wanted to say 'hi!' and let you know my new email address - katchan at lilbluekat dot net - please feel free to drop me a line! :)
